We're listening
It is no secret that property developers don’t always deliver on their promises. Understandably, that betrayal breeds mistrust. From the very start we promised to be different. We will work consultatively and transparently.
Having received outline planning consent for South Canterbury, now is the right time to talk to local people about our plans and what you would like to see in this new place. We want to hear your thoughts and reactions, your hopes, dreams and concerns. You have already asked us for more informal spaces to play football, rugby or cricket. You want easy-to-access exercise routes and equipment. You would like more spaces that allow young people to play together safely and healthily.
We will review every response in addition to feedback from consultations, informal meetings and emails. We are out and about in the community meeting residents, local groups and councillors, asking questions and listening to your views on issues including traffic, sports and amenities.
We will publish here the specific ways our plans are evolving as a result.
This is, and will continue to be, a community-focused project.
Please call, email us and ask for a meeting. You can start by sharing your views in this survey.
