Section 4 - Sport and healthy living

Canterbury is famous for its cricket, but sports fields, pitches and facilities that are open for public use are in short supply. At South Canterbury we want to change that. We are talking with local sports teams, as well as walking, running and cycling groups, to help shape sports spaces, courts and pitches, running routes with distance markers, and long, safe paths for joggers, ramblers, walkers and cyclists. We would like to understand what matters most to you.
